形容詞之比較及與最高級：本類型的考試重點十分單純，僅需把握以下重點：→使用時機：兩者間的比較使用比較級，兩者以上使用最高級。
→比較級：記得than的出現；若兩者一樣用as…..adj…..as句型。
→最高級：記得the的使用
Ex 1: John told me he would rather work the day shift ______ night.

說明：rather than的用法，本題答案為(A)。
Ex 2: This sport car can run ______ the express train.
(A) as faster than (B) as fast as (C) faster as (D) fast
說明：考as…..adj…..as的用法，本題答案為(B)。

說明：由all聯想比較的數量為兩者以上須用最高級，再加上最高級形容詞前有the的觀念，本題答案為(B)。

說明：選擇修飾名詞year的形容詞(B)為本題答案。
代名詞：以代名詞的人稱、性別、格為主要出題方向。Ex 1: If your client demands to see our warranty, just show ______ to him.
(A) them (B) ones (C) it (D) another
說明：本題中代名詞取代warranty為無性別之第三人稱單數，作為動詞show的受詞，故選擇(C)為本題答案。
同詞性單字題：此為典型之單字能力測驗，這時只能由句意來判斷答案，若不認識選項內的所有單字，記得用刪去法來增加猜對的機率。Ex 1: Choosing a location for a new business is ______ to its success.
(A) dependent (B) faithful (C) critical (D) logical
說明：四個選項皆為形容詞，(A) dependent 依賴的 (B) faithful 忠誠的 (C) critical 關鍵的 (D) logical 邏輯的，本題依照句意，我們選擇(C)為正確答案。
